Honda Super-ONE Ready For Production, Offers Sport Car Driving Sensation In Compact EVs
JAKARTA Honda is again showing the direction of the future of emotional electric mobility through the inaugural launch of the Super-ONE Prototype, the latest compact electric vehicle (EV) debuting at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. This concept car is predicted to be a tangible manifestation of Honda's fun to drive' philosophy in the electrification era.
Carrying the concept of e: Dash BOOSTER, Super-ONE is developed to provide a mobility experience that is not only environmentally friendly, but also fun. Honda's own name Super-ONE reflects Honda's ambition to create a 'super' car beyond standard, and one' as a vehicle with a unique character only Honda has.
Based on the N series light platform, Super-ONE is designed to focus on kelincancy and stability. Wide poster with a firm flagband and large tire tread emphasizes the character of sporty and provides high stability at high speed.
Most interestingly, Honda submerges the Mode Boost feature which makes exclusive performance and increases energy, as well as presents the sensation of driving like a conventional sports car. When activated, the simulation transmission system 7 accelerations coupled to Active Sound Control which produces powerful virtual engine sound and real gear movement sensations. This combination makes drivers feel adrenaline as if driving a gasoline car, but still enjoys the advantages of EV's distinctive instant response.
Honda said, Boost Mode stimulates all driver senses, ranging from sound, vibration, to gas pedal response to bring true driving excitement in a compact electric car format.

Prior to appearing in Tokyo, Super-ONE had gone through a series of rigorous testing on various road conditions in Japan, England, and Asia. In fact, the original version of Super EV Concept had looked stunning in the legendary incline test of the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 in England.
Regarding design, Super-ONE offers an atmosphere that focuses on the driver in its cabin. Special sporty seats are designed to perfectly support the body, while the layout of horizontal instrument panels provides broad views without visual impairment.
From the outside, the aerodynamic design with front-backward air channels is not onlyautified, but also increases battery cooling and energy efficiency. Low and wide proportions present an aggressive and stable impression, typical of performance cars.
"Honda plans to produce a mass version of Super-ONE starting in 2026, first in Japan followed by the UK market and Asian countries that have high demand for a compact EV. The names used will be adjusted to the market, namely Super-ONE in Japan and Asia, and Super-N in the UK," reads Honda's statement on its official website, Wednesday, October 29.
