INARI EXPO'S Grand Opening 2025, IIXS 2025, AND INTI EXPO 2025: 'Unlock The Power Of Technology And Innovation'
JAKARTA - The largest technological and innovation event in Indonesia, Indonesia Research and Innovation (INARI) EXPO 2025 and Indonesia Internet Expo & Summit (IIXS) 2025, which is a series of events for the Indonesia Technology and Innovation (INTI) EXPO 2025, officially opened today, Tuesday, October 28, at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran.
This event comes in a large series with the theme 'Unlock the Power of Technology and Innovation', which is an important momentum for the revival of the national innovation and digital technology ecosystem. This event presents various industry players, research institutions, associations, to technology startups from within and outside the country, to show the potential and future direction of digital transformation in Indonesia.
The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Meutya Hafid, expressed his appreciation for organizing this event.
This exhibition is expected to be a catalyst for strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration, through a series of agendas such as exhibitions of technology, conferences, seminars and business matching. In addition, this activity is expected to be a stage to introduce various new products, solutions, and innovations in the telecommunications sector, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and other digital technologies," said Meutya.
Indonesia itself has enormous digital potential. Based on data from Bank Indonesia (BI), e-commerce transactions in the third quarter of 2025 reached 1.44 billion transactions, growing 20.5 percent (yoy) with a value of IDR 134.67 trillion. Meanwhile, in terms of industry, the market value of the Internet of Things (IoT) in Indonesia has penetrated USD 13.05 billion (Mordor Intelligent, 2025), indicating the acceleration of technology adoption in various sectors.
Applied research plays a key role in accelerating national digital transformation, because it becomes a bridge between scientific discoveries and real implementation in the industrial world. Through applied research, innovation results can be adapted into concrete solutions that support efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in various sectors, ranging from manufacturing, transportation, to public services.
"The government through the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) continues to encourage collaboration between researchers, universities, and business actors to develop strategic technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), large data analytics (big data analytics), and green computing. This approach not only strengthens the competitiveness of the national industry, but also ensures that research results are able to provide added value to the economy while at the same time supporting Indonesia's agenda towards a digital ecosystem that is inclusive, innovative, and sustainable," said Laksana Tri Handoko, Head of the National Research Agency (BRIN).
In the organizing report submitted by the Director of CNG Trade Event, Hendri, it was stated that this year a total of 927 exhibitionists from 12 countries participated in the 2025 INARI EXPO, IIXS 2025, and INTI EXPO 2025 series. Interestingly, about 40 percent of exhibition participants are domestic business actors who have pocketed Domestic Component Level certification (TKDN).
This fact is clear evidence that local industries are increasingly ready to compete in the global market with products and solutions that meet international standards. From the visitor side, it is estimated that this year there will be more than 20,000 visitors who will take part in a series of exhibition activities, seminars, and business matching sessions held for three days. This figure shows the public's great attention to the development of technology and industrial digitization in Indonesia.

In this event, the CNG Trade Events collaborated with the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) which is a partner of the government and industry in expanding the national internet network, increasing digital literacy, and ensuring internet infrastructure and services run safely and sustainably.
"Strengthening digital infrastructure is the main foundation in encouraging the acceleration of digitalization in Indonesia. The availability of reliable 5G networks, high-speed internet connectivity, and expansion of broadband access to the 3T region (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost) are crucial factors so that all levels of society can enjoy the benefits of the digital economy evenly," said Muhammad Arif, Chairman of APJII.
"In the future, the implementation of INARI EXPO 2025, IIXS 2025, and INTI EXPO 2025 is expected to be a collaborative bridge between industry players, academics, and the government, as well as encourage the development of research and innovation implemented in the industrial ecosystem 4.0. With strong digital infrastructure support, Indonesia is optimistic that it can accelerate the transformation towards a technology-based economy and sustainable innovation," said Hendri.
