BGN Boss Targets 6,000 SPPGs To Be Built In Remote Areas

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana targets as many as 6,000 kitchen units for the organizers of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program or the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) to be built in remote areas.

With this development, Dadan is optimistic that the target recipients of the MBG program of 82.9 million people can be achieved by the end of 2025.

The beneficiaries per day are recorded at 39.2 million people.

"We also want to build 5,000 to 6,000 remote SPPGs. So we are still optimistic that we can catch up to 82.9 million (recipients of MBG) by the end of this year," he said at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 28.

Dadan said that this year's BGN target is the acceleration of the SPPG's release. He revealed that as many as 200 kitchens were successfully verified every day.

"So now there are 13,347 (SPPG units), and we can continue 200 SPPGs every day," he explained.

Dari jumlah SPPG tersebut, lanjutnya, sebanyak 690 unit telah memiliki sertifikat laik higiene sanitasi (SLHS).

“Sudah 690 (unit SPPG yang memiliki SLHS),” kata dia.

Dadan menargetkan seluruh dapur penyelenggara program MBG yang saat ini beroperasi bisa memiliki SLHS dalam sebulan ke depan.

“Targetnya selesai dalam satu bulan,” ucapnya.

Of the total SPPG, he continued, as many as 690 units have a sanitation hygiene certificate (SLHS).

"It's been 690 (the SPPG unit that has SLHS)," he said.

Dadan targets the entire kitchen of the MBG program organizers who are currently operating to have SLHS in the next month.

"The target is to finish in one month," he said.
