SpaceX Launches 28 Starlink Satellites With Falcon 9 Rocket

JAKARTA SpaceX is re-launching Starlink, a routine agenda that the company always does every week. The latest launch was held on Tuesday, October 28 with 28 satellites.

As usual, SpaceX flew Starlink into low-Earth orbit (LEO) using a Falcon 9 rocket. The rocket took off from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 7:43 WIB.

The first phase of the Falcon 9 rocket managed to return to Earth as planned. About 8.5 minutes later, the booster landed in the Pacific Ocean, precisely on a SpaceX drone ship called Of Course I Still Love You.

This special driver who is coded 1082 has set a significant record. At this launch, the Falcon 9 booster managed to fly for the 17th time. This shows SpaceX's success in recycling rockets.

Meanwhile, the top stage of the rocket continues its journey to transport 28 Starlink satellites to LEO. These satellites are stationed at LEO about an hour after launch time.

Today's launch is SpaceX's 137th Falcon 9 mission throughout 2025. This is also the company's third launch in just the last three days.

Of the hundreds of flights, 98 of them are fully dedicated to building Starlink megaconstellation. SpaceX has launched more than 10,000 Starlink spacecraft to date, but only 8,750 satellites are active.
