TNI AD Gets 7 Flats From The Ministry Of Public Works, One Of Which Is In Yonpomad Jonggol

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Army received assistance from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) in building seven flats (rusun) for soldiers spread across several areas, one of which is located at the Army Military Police Battalion Headquarters (Yonpomad) Jonggol, Bogor Regency.

Army Chief of Staff General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak has visited a new flat in Yonpomad, Jonggo. The flat built by the Ministry of Public Works is very habitable.

"Here the flats have 44 families. I saw earlier that there were facilities for friends with disabilities," Maruli said when met by the media crew after inaugurating the Yonpomad flat, Tuesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

On the same day, the Indonesian Army also received six new flats built by the Ministry of Public Works, including two at the headquarters of Yonzipur 17 Samarinda, and four modular flats at IKN.

In addition, a flat in Kodim Manggarai Labuan Bajo is currently under construction.

Maruli admitted that he appreciated the assistance provided by the Ministry of Public Works because every house built greatly affected the lives of soldiers.

With the help of the Ministry of Public Works, continued Maruli, soldiers have the opportunity to get a decent house.

So far, the TNI AD itself has also run a program to build 1,500 houses and repair more than 2,000 houses of soldiers. Not only for soldiers, the TNI AD also runs programs that have a direct impact on the people, such as cleaning rivers and reservoirs and building water points in rural areas.

Of all these programs, Maruli acknowledged the contribution of the Ministry of Public Works in it. Therefore, he hopes that the cooperation between the Ministry of Public Works and the Indonesian Army can continue to be well established.
