Sentenced To 4 Years Of Extortion Case, Nikita Mirzani: It's Normal

JAKARTA Actress Nikita Mirzani gave a response after being sentenced to 4 years in prison for extortion with the threat of defamation through electronic media reported by Reza Gladys.

In this case, Nikita was initially charged with two articles, namely extortion through electronic media and money laundering (TPPU). However, in reading the verdict, the panel of judges stated that Nikita was not proven guilty of the money laundering charges.

Responding to this, the mother of three admitted that she had suspected from the start that the money laundering offense article would not be proven.

"Yes, it's normal, but I have feelings from yesterday that the money laundering offense article must be lost," said Nikita Mirzani at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, October 28.

When asked about his disappointment with the verdict handed down, Nikita emphasized that he did not really mind this matter. He even made sure that he would appeal the judge's decision.

"Disappointed? Yes, it's not really normal. If it's an appeal, definitely yes," he continued.

With her distinctive style, Nikita joked that she had suspected that she would receive a much heavier sentence.

"Yes, I thought it was 30 years, I didn't know it was 4 years," joked Nikita.

Previously, the panel of judges at the South Jakarta District Court found Nikita Mirzani guilty of committing a criminal act of extortion with the threat of defamation. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, a subsidiary of 3 months in prison.
