Rossa And Dipha Barus Remajakan Classical Works Through The Album Romance Dance

JAKARTA - Rossa with DJ and composer Dipha Barus to revive the best number of songs from the past. They presented it in a mini album titled Asmara Dansa.

This collaboration provides new space for classic songs with a fresh, modern, and young music color that has been popularized by Chrisye & Sheila Majid.

I want good old songs to continue to be played to the current generation. Romance Dansa is the way I introduced the beauty of ancient music to the new nuances so that they can be more relevant to today's children's music," Rossa quoted ANTARA as saying on Tuesday, October 28.

One of the mainstay songs in this mini album is Sinaran', where Rossa collaborates with the Constitutional Court K-Clique, one of the famous rappers from Malaysia, who provides a different color and energy for the iconic song.

This cross-generational and cross-border collaboration is a form of Rossa's musical exploration to present music that today's listeners can enjoy without eliminating the essence of the beauty of the original song.

The reason Rossa chose to remake the song "Sinan" was because he had his own reasons.

"Because the song Sinaran Amazed me is one of the most legendary works in the history of Malaysian music, and Sis Sheila Majid is a senior that I have admired for a long time. So I want to pay my respects to one of my role models and inspiration in music," he said.

Other songs on the album are "Feeling X Juwita" by Erros Djarot, Chrisye, Yockie Suryo Prayogo and Junaedi Salat, "Feeling" made by Erros Djarot and Chrisye, and "Juwita" by Junaedi Salat and Jockey Soerjaprajogo.

The mini album "Asmara Dansa" comes with an arrangement produced by Dhipa Barus, with the theme of dance, pop, and electronic to one. To celebrate the mini release of this album, Rossa will hold a Asmara Dansa Roadshow roadshow in four major cities of Indonesia, namely Jakarta on November 7, 2025, Bandung on November 15, Yogyakarta on November 29 and Surabaya on December 5.

Through this roadshow, Rossa wants to share the spirit of love and happiness with fans in person. Each appearance will be packed with an intimate, interactive, and energy-filled atmosphere. Making Asmara Dansa is not just an album, but also a celebration of Rossa's musical journey that continues to evolve.
