Entrepreneur From Surabaya Haji Mamad Was Questioned By The KPK Regarding The Regulation Of DJKA Project Auctions

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the Director of PT Peraga Lambang Sejahtera, Muhammad Syarif Abubakar alias Haji Mamad as a witness today.

He was asked for information regarding the alleged bribery of the construction of a railway line within the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) in the Surabaya region.

"In this examination, investigators explored the knowledge of witnesses regarding the alleged auction arrangement and the provision of fees to PPK," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, October 28.

Budi said the examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. "Investigators conduct witness examinations in cases of alleged corruption related to the construction of railroad lines within the DJKA area of Surabaya," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK again detained three suspects in the bribery case for the procurement and maintenance of the railway line at the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA (Kemenhub). They are the head of a working group (Pokja) in a number of projects.

These three people are Hardho, Edi Purnomo, and Budi Prasetiyo. The determination of the three as suspects is the development of bribes by Dion Renato Sugiarto to the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) within the Semarang BTP.

The bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) began with a hand arrest operation (OTT) related to allegations of corruption at the Class I Railway Engineering Center for the Central Java Region. This action was carried out on April 11, 2023.

From the silent operation, the KPK then named 10 suspects. Four parties are suspected of being bribers of the Director of PT Istana Putra Agung (IPA) Dion Renato Sugiarto (DIN); Director of PT Dwifarita Fajarkharisma, Muchamad Hikmat (MUH); Director of PT KA Management Properti until February 2023 Yoseph Ibrahim (YOS); and VP of PT KA Management Properti Parjono (PAR).

Meanwhile, those suspected of being recipients are the Director of Railway Infrastructure Harno Trimadi (HNO); Head of the Central Java Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Putu Sumarjaya; Commitment Making Officer (PPK) BTP Central Java Bernard Hasibuan (BEN); PPK BPKA South Sulawesi Achmad Affandi (AFF); PPK for Railway Infrastructure Fadliansyah (FAD); and PPK BTP West Java Synto Pirjani Hutabarat (SYN).

In addition, there are also two suspects who were named on January 22, 2024. They are Yofi Okatrisza as ASN at the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and former auditor of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Medi Yanto Sipahutar.
