Strengthening KUR Distribution To Regions, Ministry Of MSMEs Collaborates With ADKASI

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has encouraged the involvement of members of the Indonesian Regency Council (ADKASI) in optimizing the district government's participation in the People's Business Credit (KUR) program.

"We want the participation of our friends from the district council members to encourage regional heads to be able to expand and make KUR distribution successful in their respective regions," said MSME Minister Maman Abdurrahman, Tuesday, October 28.

Maman added that the district government and ADKASI members are expected to be able to encourage the emergence of new customers in their respective regions.

"We also ask for the participation and involvement of ADKASI in monitoring KUR programs such as their use which is prioritized for the productive sector," he said.

According to Minister Maman, this step is important so that people can get tangible benefits from the KUR program, including increasing economic empowerment and business growth at the local level.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Siswanto ADKASI appreciated the collaborative steps taken by the Ministry of MSMEs. He emphasized that this synergy will be followed up through the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two parties.

"We would like to thank the Ministry of MSMEs. This is an important step towards economic growth of eight percent as mandated by Mr. Prabowo," said Siswanto.

It was recorded that until October 23, 2025, KUR distribution had reached Rp220 trillion to 3.75 million debtors. KUR distribution shows positive achievements, of which 60.7 percent of the funds have been channeled to the productive sector.

This achievement also has a significant impact on employment. Based on data from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the KUR program has succeeded in creating new jobs with an average absorption of two to three people per debtor.
