Bilal Indrajaya Presents Visual Puitis For Missing Weekend Song

JAKARTA - After launching their second Extended play (EP), Two Worlds', last May, Bilal Indrajaya returned to greet his listeners by releasing a visual interpretation for one of his songs, Akhir Pekan Yang Hilang.

Instead of only presenting ordinary visualizations, through this music video Bilal invited listeners to dive into a quiet depth and make peace with the loss of a theme that often escapes the clich frame of pop love.

Bilal collaborated with BAD BAD NOT BAD STUDIOS to present the meaning of the song in visual form. As a result, the music video Akhir Pekan Yang Hilang directed by Joan Elizabeth and Baday was present as a poetic work and invited contemplation.

A gentle touch of cinematography combined with the tempo of a calm narrative, creates a nostalgic atmosphere as well as loneliness, which is indeed the emotional core of the song itself.

The combination of warm colors that meet the blue and gray nuances highlights the emotional contrast between past sweet memories and voids that are felt today.

In this visualization, Joan Elizabeth introduces a pair of characters, Nara, played by Elmo Muller and Aruna performed by Nadira Ayu.

Through a story they play, the audience is invited to dive into a feeling of deep loss. This loss arises from a love bond that previously felt very real, but had to face the harsh reality that the story had ended. The loss that was raised was not just an ordinary separation, but an eternal separation.

Throughout this music video, viewers are taken to trace pieces of flashback moments that display togetherness, memories, and ultimately leave only silence.

In addition, the melody and lyrics of the song loudly describe the feelings of the two characters, as if confirming that love can feel real as well as mortal, eternal even though it is only temporary.

Everything feels real and mortal, and you feel too much love. We are eternal even for a while," reads the lyric of Bilal's song.

The end of the Missing Week itself is an integral part of EP Dua Dunia which has been released by Bilal Indrajaya. Through this song, he reveals a story about longing and the loss of moments of togetherness.

Bilal reflected on the feeling when time passes so fast without being fully enjoyed, either because of his busyness, distance, or the most painful thing, because someone he loves is gone.

For those who want to dive into the silence presented by Bilal Indrajaya, the music video Akhir Pekan Yang Hilang can be watched in full on Bilal Indrajaya's official YouTube channel.
