The Government Provides Assistance To The Red And White Kopdes To Create A Business Proposal

Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono said his party had deployed business assistants or business assistants to assist the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes) in making business proposals.

This was conveyed by Ferry after the Coordination Meeting (Rakor) with the Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), at the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs Office, Jakarta, Monday, October 27.

Ferry said one business assistant would be responsible for accompanying the 10 Red and White Kopdes. Ferry said, business proposals are the key so that the Red and White Kopdes can obtain working capital from the Association of State Banks (Himbara).

One business assistant 10 village cooperatives. That is what we will assist to assist village cooperatives, make business proposals in accordance with ideally we can carry out basic food outlets, pharmacies, clinics, warehouses, and so on," said Ferry.

Currently, said Ferry, not too many Red and White Kopdes have pocketed working capital from Himbara. Even so, he did not explain in more detail how many Kopdes had received working capital from Himbara,

Ferry said there are regulations that must be changed, and affect the requirements of the Red and White Kopdes to get working capital from Himbara.

"The number is not too much because yesterday there was a regulation from the Minister of Finance that we had to cancel, the number 49. Yesterday there was a new decree from the Minister of Finance which would then serve as a guideline, a guide for Himbara to disburse," said Ferry.

Furthermore, Ferry said that in order to get working capital from Himbara, the Red and White Kopdes must make a business proposal with assistance from business assistants.

"But this is a process to be able to be bankable and feasible, it must be accompanied by the making of the proposal," he explained.

For your information, the government has distributed Rp200 trillion from the Over Budget Balance (SAL) of the state budget (APBN) to Himbara. The funds are intended to encourage lending in Himbara, one of which is through the Red and White Kopdes.

Ferry said, one of the funds will be used for the construction of 2,400 units of the Red and White Kopdes.

"Not yet, yes, now we are building 2,400, yes, it is being built," said Ferry.
