Menkop Ferry Claims Kopdes Merah Putih In Boyolali Raup Omzet Rp200 Million For 10 Days
JAKARTA - Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono claims that the Metuk Red and White Village Cooperative in Boyolali, Central Java, is operating optimally.
In fact, it has pocketed a turnover of up to Rp200 million during operating 10 days since its inauguration.
"Yesterday I just came from Boyolali, which has been operating very well. His income has now been ten days since it was opened, it has been Rp. 200 million," said Ferry when met at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Monday, October 27.
The Metuk Red and White Kopdes has more than 700 members and manages various business units such as basic food outlets, pharmacies, clinics, office outlets, agricultural stores, and logistics warehouses.
"Everything is going well, even having a dental clinic, have various things," he said.
Previously, Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono inaugurated the Metuk Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes), Mojosongo District, Boyolali Regency, Sunday, October 26.
Ferry said the inauguration of the Metuk Red and White Kopdes is proof that cooperatives are a small struggle tool when combined into big ones.
"The physical development of the Metuk Red and White Kopdes has exceeded the predetermined standard," said Ferry.
Ferry expressed his appreciation for the spirit of mutual cooperation among the residents of Metuk Village in forming this cooperative. The more rural communities join to become members of cooperatives, the more benefits will be returned to their own communities.
"This is real evidence of the mutual cooperation economy, the Pancasila economy. Gotong is carrying out activities together. Meanwhile, royong is sharing the benefits together," said Ferry.

Menkop juga meminta agar Kopdes Merah Putih Metuk dapat memetakan kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar dan potensi desa yang dapat dikembangkan.
“Koperasi ini juga berpotensi mengembangkan komoditas unggulan desa, antara lain seperti obat atau jamu tradisional seperti Calung yang mengandung ekstrak Lumbricus Rubellus khas Desa Metuk, sayuran dataran menengah, dan padi lahan basah. Tentunya hal ini bisa membantu masyarakat dan membangun ekosistem dengan lingkungan sekitar,” kata Ferry.

The Coordinating Minister also requested that the Metuk Red and White Kopdes be able to map the needs of the surrounding community and the potential of the village that can be developed.
"This operation also has the potential to develop superior village commodities, such as traditional medicines or herbal medicines such as Calung which contain the extract of Lumbricus Rubelus typical of Metuk Village, medium-LAND vegetables, and wetland rice. Of course this can help the community and build ecosystems with the surrounding environment," said Ferry.
