2 Lives Floating On Jalan Soekarno Hatta Palembang, Police Track The Escaped White Innova Driver
PALEMBANG - Two motorcyclists died after being hit by a car on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, Palembang, Monday morning at around 02.00 WIB.
Head of Gakkum Satlantas Polrestabes Palembang, Iptu Hermanto, confirmed the incident.
The two victims were identified as Suparmo (36), a resident of Perum Taman Asri, Gandus Village, Gandus District, and Nanda Lestari (32), a resident of Jalan Rha Arifai Tjekyan, 21 Ilir Village, Ilir Timur I District, Palembang.
From the results of the crime scene (TKP), it is known that the motorcycle driven by the victim drove from the Lubuk Bakung intersection to Jalan Sukasari.
"While passing at the scene, their vehicle was hit from behind by a white Toyota Innova which was traveling at high speed from the same direction," Hermanto said in Palembang, quoted from Antara, Monday, October 27.
As a result of the hard impact, Suparmo suffered a fracture in his left hand, a fracture in his left thigh, and a wound on his stomach and face, while Nanda Lestari suffered lacerations to his thigh and left knee. Both died at the scene.

The bodies of the two victims have been handed over to the family, while the motorbike they used was secured by the police as evidence.
