Xabi Alonso Doesn't Want To Talk Now About Vinicius' Reaction To Anger
JAKARTA - Xabi Alonso said he would speak with Vinicius Junior about his angry reaction after being replaced in the El Clasico match between Real Madrid vs Barcelona which ended in a 2-1 win on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Vinicius was pulled out in the 72nd minute - replaced by Rodrygo - at the Santiago Bernabeu.
He responded by showing real disapproval. First of all, pointing to himself repeatedly to question whether he was pulled out.
Then, he screamed and laughed, before passing coach Alonso on the sidelines, and headed for the tunnel.

The Brazilian then returned to the bench and was involved in a clash between the two teams during the final whistle.
He appears to protest against Lamine Yamal, who has sparked tensions ahead of the match with his comments about Real Madrid.
Vinicius was one of five players who got a yellow card for his role in the fight, while Los Blancos reserve goalkeeper Andriy Lunin received a red card.
"I will focus on a lot of positive things in this match and Vini's good things. Of course we will discuss ( Vini's reaction)."
"However, I don't want to distract from anything really important. We will discuss it, in the context of that incredible match."
"Vini contributed a lot. This is an important and appropriate victory. Important, the feeling of being a competitive team in big matches. Regarding the rest, we will discuss it later," Alonso said in a press conference after the match.
Alonso has crossed out Vinicius from Real Madrid's starting XI - even though he is ready to play - three times this season, including in last weekend's win over Getafe.
Alonso praised the Brazilian as a fundamental and decisive player earlier this week, saying he was delighted to see Vini smile.
Apart from that, Jude Bellingham scored Real Madrid's winning goal against Barcelona, the midfielder scored the winner at El Clasico the third time.
The Spaniard also appreciated the midfielder, who he said could immediately collapse after recovering from injury.
"Against Barcelona, against Juventus (23 October 2025 WIB) and against Getafe (20 October 2025 WIB), in the past week he has played three good matches."
"After he returned (from surgery), we knew he needed time and minutes to play to recover. That's what happened, and the results were even better than we expected," Alonso said, when asked about Bellingham.
Real Madrid's win over Barcelona put them five points ahead at the top of the table, with 10 games played.
