Good Statistics Fajar/Fikri: Six Tournaments, Four Times Entering The Final

JAKARTA Men's doubles Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri have had interesting statistics since they were paired. They managed to reach four final rounds in the six tournaments they participated in.

The latest final round was achieved by the couple at the BWF Super 750 French Open 2025, which was completed on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Glaz Arena.

Fajar/Fikri closed the trip there as runners-up. They lost three games 21-10, 13-21, and 12-21 against the first seed from South Korea, Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung-jae.

This defeat made Fajar/Fikri desire to get their second title as a partner again failed. This is the third time in a row they have lost in the final stages of the tournament.

Before entering the final at the Glaz Arena, the couple first felt the runner-up position at the Korea Open and Denmark Open 2025.

While appearing in South Korea, Fajar/Fikri also suffered defeat against Kim/Seo. Meanwhile, when they were in Denmark they gave up against former world champion from Japan, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.

The only final to end in the title was the BWF Super 1000 China Open 2025 last July, which was their second tournament after playing at the Japan Open 2025 the previous week.

While playing the Japan Open 2025 tournament, Fajar/Fikri's journey ran aground in the quarter-finals. The other tournament is the 2025 China Masters, which ends in the semifinals.

Selanjutnya Fajar/Fikri akan tampil dalam ajang Super 500 BWF Hylo Open 2025 pekan ini. Di turnamen tersebut, pasangan ini ditempatkan sebagai unggulan kelima.
