Judge Rejects Pretrial Khariq Anhar Regarding Cases Of Alleged Incitement Of Demonstration
JAKARTA - The South Jakarta District Court Judge rejected the pretrial of the defendant admin of the Plaintiff Student Alliance, Khariq Anhar regarding the alleged incitement case for the August 25-30 demonstration in 2025.
"To try, one rejects the petitioner's pretrial application in its entirety," said Sole Judge Sulistyo Muhamad Dwi Putro during a verdict hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday, October 27.
The judge rejected the pretrial application submitted by Khariq to the South Jakarta District Court numbered 131/Pid.Pra/2025/PN JKT.SEL and 128/Pid.Pre/2025/PN JKT.SEL.
It was said that the judge rejected the pretrial by stating that the determination of the suspect and the confiscation in the Khariq case had complied with legal procedures.
"To charge the applicant with zero court fees," he said.
As for the case of incitement to a demonstration with the defendant admin of the Plaintiff's Student Alliance, Khariq Anhar was registered in two case numbers.
First, the case of whether or not the determination of the suspect is registered with case number 131/Pid. Pra/2025/PN JKT.SEL and the respondent to the Regional Police Chief of Polda Metro Jaya Asep Edi Suheri.
Second, whether or not the confiscation is valid with case number 128 / Pid. Pra / 2025 / PN JKT.SEL and the respondent Director of Cyber Investigation of the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police.
During the trial, the judge answered the defendant's attorney's request, namely related to the request for a place of trial to the summons of the respondent.
