David Beckham And Victoria's Children Debut As Singers By Release Of Two Singles At The Same Time
JAKARTA - David Beckham and Victoria's third son, Cruz Beckham, officially underwent his music career by releasing two debut singles that had a trippy rhythm, entitled Optics and Lick The Toad.
This move is a new breakthrough that divides public expectations that are accustomed to the luxury pop image of the Beckham family.
Cruz is currently 20 years old. His 20th debut effort in the world of singing has actually started when he was 11 years old, when he sang a Christmas-themed song "If Every Day Was Christmas".
However, earlier this year it was revealed that David and Victoria Beckham's youngest son was serious about working on music and had recruited assistance from Luke Total, vocalist of The Kooks band who turned out to be good friends with Cruz.
According to a report by The Sun in early 2024, Cruz has signed an agreement with a new music management firm. Collaboration withtiples legitimizes the direction of indie music he is now taking.
Speaking to the British outlet last March about this collaboration, men said: 'He has a very good taste for music. We chatted about the early Bee Gees 'not many people I can talk to about it. We started writing songs together and we became friends. I just want to help him navigate (a career in the music field).'

Musically, this song is classified as trippy, bringing a psychedelic feel. While the lyrics are in the main spotlight, where Cruz explores sensitive issues.
Then, Lick The Toad carries a similar but more cheerful style. In this song, Cruz invites listeners to sing Lick The Toad at the beginning of the song.
The two singles were produced by big names on the indie music scene: Justin Raisen (who has worked with Charli XCX, Joji, and Maritime Affairs) and Lewis Pesacov.
