A Year Of Prabowo-Gibran, Minister Of Nusron Distributed 195,734 Land Fields For 39,556 Families

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) led by Nusron Wahid has handed over 195,734 plots of land to 39,556 families (KK) through the Agrarian Reform program.

This is also accompanied by social mapping of 9,100 families and business assistance for 14,900 beneficiary families.

"Agrarian reform for us is not just land certification. This is an effort to reorganize the structure of land tenure so that it is fairer and at the same time make land a motor for the people's economic equality," said Nusron in an official statement quoted from the official website of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Monday, October 27.

Nusron assessed that this approach not only ensures legal certainty, but also encourages the land to really function productively and become a new source of welfare for the small people.

"Every certificate that we issue is accompanied by assistance so that the land is alive, managed and produces added economic value for its owners," he said.

Cumulatively, from 2020 to 2025, the government has carried out a redistribution of 879,942 hectares of land, covering 1,641,408 plots to the people who are entitled.

Of these, 26 Agrarian Reform Priority Locations (LPRA) have been completed, covering 15,533 plots of land or 5,109 hectares for 11,576 families.

"The redistribution of land does not only divide land, but also restores a sense of justice to the small people and paves the way for a more equitable economy," said Nusron.

To ensure that the land handed over really provides economic benefits, the Ministry of ATR/BPN has built a closed loop through the Directorate General of Agrarian Arrangement.

The model brings together farmers, cooperatives, financial institutions and off-takers (buyers of products) in one economic chain to strengthen each other.

With this system, farmers no longer sell raw products, but also process and market products that have a higher selling value.

"Through a closed loop pattern, we encourage agrarian reform to produce a real economy, not just a certificate document. This is what we call a productive TORA," he explained.

The implementation of agrarian reforms is also strengthened by the Mitra Strategis Reform Agrarian (MSRA) program which involves civil society organizations, universities, religious institutions" and the people's economic community. Through this collaboration, the state is present as a regulator as well as a community empowerment facilitator.

"This collaboration proves that agrarian reform is not only a government program, but a joint movement to realize agrarian justice," he said.

He added that the achievements of agrarian reform in the past year have been a strong foundation towards a more just and sustainable economic development of the people.

According to Nusron, in the future the land should no longer be a source of dispute, but become an instrument of people's welfare and independence.

"We have realized the implementation of agrarian reform in its entirety, from certainty of land rights, conflict resolution to increasing the economic value of the community," he concluded.
