Dedi Mulyadi Must Explain To West Java Residents About The Endance Of Provincial Government Funds At Banks
JAKARTA Political communication expert M Jamiluddin Ritonga revealed that the Governor of West Java (Jabar) Dedi Mulyadi must explain to the people of West Java regarding the provincial government's funds of IDR 4.1 trillion which is deposited in the bank.
Because, if the Rp4 trillion budget is deposited in the form of deposits with a term of three or six months, of course the interest is quite large. "The problem is, who are the interest for and for what?" said Jamil, Sunday, October 26.
Therefore, Dedi Mulyadi and other regional heads should be able to explain what the motivation is to deposit the budget, and whether the budget provided is really for development that is carried out on the right time set.
"That way, budget deposition is not intended to get interest for the benefit of certain parties. If this is the case, then budget deposition has been deliberately misappropriated," he said.
Jamil emphasized that those who did this had certainly hampered development in the regions, and therefore had to be dealt with with with severe sanctions.
"Hopefully Dedi Mulyadi needs to resolve this, so that negative accusations related to regional budget deposition can be minimized. This can be realized not in words, but evidence based on the results of the investigation," he added.
As is known, the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, denied the statements of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) which stated that there was a West Java Provincial Government fund of Rp4.1 trillion deposited in the bank.
However, he acknowledged that the West Java Provincial Government did have cash of IDR 2.3 trillion in banking.
