Golkar: Bahlil Won’t Back Down from Carrying Out the Mandate to Uphold State Dignity
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Idrus Marham, assessed that the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadia would not back down a moment in carrying out President Prabowo Subianto's orders in carrying out the state's territory.
According to him, Bahlil's attitude is in line with the philosophy of the Presidential government which places the nation's ideology and philosophy, Pancasila as the basis of policy.
"The construction thought Mr. Prabowo invites us to realize that Indonesia is the nation's big house that must be cared for," said Idrus in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday.
It is said that caring for what is meant is done with family values, mutual cooperation, togetherness, solidarity, nationalism, patriotism, and prioritizing the interests of the people.

For this reason, he is of the opinion that the attacks and frames of alias negative framing on social media against Bahlil, who is also the General Chair of the Golkar Party DPP, are a form of democracy paradox' in the era of the current disclosure of information.
Idrus underlined Bahlil's various policies in the energy sector and mineral resources to show very firm success and partiality to the people, not to certain groups.
"Fighting justice must be fair, fighting for democracy must be democratic. Struggling for noble ideals with sincerity and good intentions, not with slander and hatred," he said.
Idrus added that Bahlil always has a commitment according to President Prabowo's direction with awareness of his duties as an assistant to the president. Thus, he said, this way of thinking makes Bahlil always consistently exist in the policy circle as an assistant to the President
Previously, two Golkar Party wing organizations, the Golkar Party Youth Force (AMPG) and the Indonesian Renewal Youth Force (AMPI), visited the Polda Metro Jaya and Bareskrim Polri, Monday (20/10). They conducted legal consultations and expressed objections to a number of social media accounts deemed insulting to Bahlil.
The uploads are considered to have violated Articles 27 and 28 of the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE) and Article 310 of the Criminal Code concerning defamation. However, according to Idrus, this step was not at all an order from the Party or from Bahlil.
"There is no party policy to report, let alone orders from the General Chair. This is purely an expression of the spirit of young people who want to maintain the dignity of the organization and its leaders," said Idrus.
The police also stated that the new AMPG and AMPI were limited to conducting legal consultations and had not submitted an official report.
For this step, Bahlil has also opened his voice in response to the memes and negative comments that personally attack him on social media. He said that he was used to being insulted since childhood.
My condition, which has led to individuals, is that I have been used to being insulted since I was a child. I'm not an official's son, I'm not a rich man, I'm just a village boy, so insults have been normal since I was an elementary school," said Bahlil in Jakarta, Friday (24/10).
