Meanwhile, quoted from the Cleveland Clinic, blood flow infection is a serious health condition. This condition occurs where bacteria, fungi, or other pathogens enter and spread into the bloodstream, which can cause sepsis (infection to spread throughout the body).
When a person is infected, the immune system tries to fight the infection. However, the immune system sometimes stops fighting the cause of infection and instead begins to damage the body's tissue and normal organs, which cause widespread inflammation throughout the body.
At the same time, abnormal reactions to blood clotting systems can cause the formation of blood clots in blood vessels. This can blood flow to various organs of the body and can cause serious damage, which can lead to death.
There are several symptoms that occur in the body of a person who has a blood flow infection, as follows.
- Fever
- Milling or cold
- Weakness or weakness
- Pain
- Overdrought, especially at night
- Darha pressure is decreasing
- Spots blue or purplish on the skin
Blood flow infections can occur in anyone. However, the most vulnerable groups are those with weakened immune systems, chronic diseases (such as diabetes and cancer), the elderly, infants, and individuals undergoing invasive medical procedures such as surgery, use of catheters, or ventilators.
