Bahlil Asks Golkar Wings To Stop Reports, Calls For Democratic Ethics
JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia has raised his voice regarding the report filed by the Golkar Party Youth Force (AMPG) on insults against him in the form of memes that are crowded on social media. He admitted that he did not know anything about the report and asked that the process be stopped.
"I will call the younger siblings. If someone apologizes, yes, that's it. Allah wants to forgive, especially since we are human," said Bahlil at the Presidential Palace, Friday (10/10/2025).
According to him, criticism of legal policies has been carried out in a polite manner. However, he considered, attacks that lead to physical, skin tone, and origins of a person have exceeded the limits.
"Because my skin is black and my body is not high, can't you be an official? It insults Indonesians from Maluku, Papua, NTT, and other areas. Don't divide this nation," he said.

Bahlil emphasized the importance of maintaining ethics in democracy and not repeating the pattern of divide et impera.
"Don't because of politics, we revive the primitive way of dividing the nation. Indonesia is one unit."
He added that state policies should not be drawn into personal territory. He hopes that all parties will return to the path that educates the people.
"Later, I will ask the Secretary General (Golkar) to stop it. Let's educate this nation in a good way, not with personal grudges."
Previously, the AMPG leadership together with AMPI reported a number of social media accounts to Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (20/10/2025).
The report is related to the spread of racist memes and uploads as well as slander against the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources as well as the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia.
The two Golkar wing organizations assessed that a number of accounts had exceeded the appropriate limits by spreading content that attacks a person's personal dignity.
