BLITAR - The Sukorejo Sector Police, Blitar City, East Java, succeeded in rescuing a resident who was about to commit suicide in Sukorejo District, Blitar City. He was immediately taken to the hospital for medical help.

Head of Sukorejo Police, Blitar City Police Commissioner Slamet Pujiono said the victim named Hafiz Jefri Fajar Hidayat (22) was a resident of Tanjungsari Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar City.

Before the incident, Hafiz Jefri came to his colleague's house, Roby was accompanied by another friend on a motorbike.

"Arriving at Roby's house, the person in question was drunk and then laying down in the living room chatting with his colleague. During the chat, Fajar said he wanted to go to Kalimantan because he had a problem, but Fajar did not tell him what the problem was," said the police chief in Blitar. , Wednesday, May 19.

He added that from the information of his colleague, namely Roby, several colleagues who had previously returned home had returned but Fajar was still at Roby's house and sleeping in the living room. Roby also had time to go to work, leaving his friend (Fajar) who was still sleeping.

Fajar was also picked up by another colleague who wanted to work with him selling fruit. However, when he entered the house, conditions were already a mess.

Apart from being a mess, it turned out that the victim was found covered in blood. His colleague immediately contacted the neighborhood and the police. Not long after, members came and immediately evacuated the victim's body.

When found, the victim's position was tilted with his head facing west and legs stretched to the east. His body was also covered in blood. Nearby is a kitchen knife. When he was examined by officers, he was still breathing so he was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

"The temporary allegation is that the victim attempted suicide using a kitchen knife in Roby's house by stabbing the victim's stomach until it was torn off. Until now, the victim is alive and immediately taken to the hospital," he said.

In addition to asking for information from fellow victims, the police also conducted crime scenes. This is done to determine whether it is true suicide attempts or other cases.

Until now, the victim is still being treated. The neighbors were shocked by this incident. They hope that the victim can be saved and healthy again.
