BRIN Pamerkan Robot Telesurgery Dan VR Tsunami Di Indocomtech 2025
JAKARTA The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) showcased various research results in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Indocomtech 2025 event, ranging from video shows to live demonstrations.
Of the various innovations on display, one of the most interesting is the Virtual Reality (VR) application to mitigate the dangers of a Tsunami called Avirsinami. There is also a portable Biosensor to detect diseases such as dengue fever and Hepatitis C.
In addition, there is also an FPGA-based underwater detector navigation system and the Telesurgery Robotic System. The research shows that BRIN continues to encourage technological advances in various fields, including health.
Riyanto, Researcher at the BRIN Electronics Research Center, explained one of his leading researches, namely the Telesurgery Robotic System. For now, this technology is still in the development stage before it is adopted in real terms.

"The research I'm currently working on is the Telesurgical Robotic System, where the development stage is to produce a robot master communication integration and survey system," Riyanto said, quoted on Friday, October 24.
Meanwhile, BRIN researcher M. Yudhi Rezaldi highlighted the uniqueness of the Avirsinami (VR Tsunami) application. He said that, "3D modeling generated from the 3D orthomosaic method is something new to use as VR content."
To see various technologies from BRIN, you can visit the booth at Indocomtech which will be held at ICE BSD, Tangerang. This event will last for four days, from October 23 to October 26.
