Reza Gladys Case Trial Almost Completed, Nikita Mirzani Crying

JAKARTA Actress Nikita Mirzani couldn't hold back her tears after undergoing a duplicate reading trial at the South Jakarta District Court. The tears were not due to sadness, but an overflow of relief and emotion after eight months of a long legal process.

When met after the trial, Nikita admitted that she burst into tears because the trial almost reached the end.

"Nangis karena akhirnya selesai," ujar Nikita sambil menahan isak.

"Finally finished, yes, this is the 28th day that I will be very much after approximately eight months," he continued.

Nikita now has high hopes for the panel of judges who will pass the verdict on 28 October. He hopes that the decisions given later are truly fair and wise.

"Finally, the 28th will be soon. Hopefully, I have no other hope than Your Honor, may you be wise, can try as fairly as possible," hoped Nikita.

Behind his tenacity during his trial, Nikita expressed deep longing for his children. After eight months behind bars, the thing he missed the most was sleeping with his baby at home.

"(The message for the child) is really missing. I really miss going to bed in the room together," he said in a trembling voice.

He also described how long time has passed in detention. Every day feels so long, making his longing for freedom stronger.

"Yes, waiting a long time because he was detained is not a short time. It's been like a week," said Nikita.

Now, all prayers and hopes are on the day of the verdict. "Yes, hopefully on the 28th what I hope for and I pray for all this time, God willing, all will be answered," he concluded, hoping to return to his children's arms soon.
