Rifky Balweel Comeback Playing Film After 10 Years, Was Afraid
JAKARTA - Rifky Balweel marked his return to acting in the film through the film The Hostage's Hero. One of the things that made him special was that he got the antagonist role in this project.
"First, there was an opportunity, so when I was offered and when I read the script, it was very interesting. At first I wanted to (cast) the roles of Reno and Jalaludin, but I was told that Reno's role had been locked up (to Jaludin)," said Rifky Balweel in Central Jakarta on Thursday, October 23.
The 35-year-old actor had difficulty because the original figure he played had died. Even so, he followed the director's direction to prepare his character.
"From the first contract sign here, bro Revo (film director), 'Don't shave first, I just want to be like a beard first' he said.
"Real beards. It's not shaved for about two months," Rifky continued.
