Nintendo Announces Pikmin 4 Free Update, Presents Pikmin Decor

JAKARTA - Nintendo announced that it will release the latest free update for the game Pikmin 4, which will be coming on the Nintendo Switch in November 2025.

Through this update, players will get a variety of new features that expand their playing experience, including the appearance of Decor Pikmin, the camera feature in the game, as well as two new customizable challenging modes.

The main feature introduced is Decor Pikmin, a unique type of Pikmin that previously appeared only in the Bloom Pikmin mobile application. As the name suggests, Decor Pikmin appears wearing a variety of attractive decorations.

Interestingly, the Pikmin Decor collected at Pikmin 4 can also be transferred to Pikamin Bloom, including several new variants that have never appeared before.

In addition, this update also introduces Field Cameras, which allow players to take photos of characters, Pikmin troops, or views in the game.

Players can experiment with various angles, filters, frames, and stamps to beautify the photos. This camera also has a special role in adding Decor Pikmin to the player squad.

Nintendo also added two new modes to adjust the level of gaming difficulties: Relaxed Mode, where creatures in the gaming world will not attack unless attacked first, and Mode Fierce, which presents tougher challenges for experienced players.

Pikmin 4 is an adventure game in which players act as members of the Rescue Corps, accompanied by a loyal dog named Oatchi and a group of Pikmin who help explore mysterious planets, save victims, and gather various resources.

The game also supports co-op mode in one challenging Dandori Battle and system. Picmin 4 is currently available on the Nintendo Switch and can also be played on Nintendo Switch 2.
