BPK Regional Shopping Audit, West Kutai Regent Asks All Stand By Officials

WEST KUTAI - West Kutai Regent, East Kalimantan, Frederick Edwin has banned all officials within the West Kutai Regency Government from traveling outside the region during the routine inspection process carried out by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

Detailed compliance checks on regional spending are scheduled to last for 40 calendar days, from October 20 to November 28, 2025, including on weekends.

"To all technical activity implementing officials, treasurer of the receipt and treasurer of goods, do not leave the place during the inspection of detailed compliance with regional expenditures by the East Kalimantan Representative BPK," said Frederick in West Kutai, Antara, Thursday, October 23.

All relevant officials must be ready to provide the information needed by the inspection team whenever necessary.

"Everyone must actively fulfill the request for documents or data needed by the BPK audit team. Make sure there are no delays in submitting the requested documents or data, including being directly involved in physical examinations in the field," he said.

In line with the regent, the Regional Secretary of West Kutai Regency, Aynius, also asked technical officials in every regional apparatus to fully support the implementation of the examination.

"All relevant officials are certainly not allowed to leave the place or leave the Kubar area during the inspection. For the Regional Assets and Finance Management Agency (BKAD), please facilitate the work to run smoothly," said Aynius.

Meanwhile, BPK Technical Controller Representative for East Kalimantan Province Nana Suryana explained that this activity is the second stage of compliance examination after a preliminary examination was carried out in September 2025.

"This examination is focused on seven types of spending, including personnel spending and spending on goods and services. We hope that key personnel in each device do not leave West Kutai during the examination, except for matters that are really urgent and have been coordinated," said Nana.
