Minister Of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi Answers The Directorate General Of Islamic Boarding Schools And National Car Plans

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto formed the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Islamic Boarding Schools under the Ministry of Religion. This was President Prabowo's response to the collapse of the building at the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School, Sidoarjo, which claimed many lives.

This was conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi to reporters at the State Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 22. According to Prasetyo Hadi, President Prabowo Subianto is very concerned about Islamic boarding schools for several reasons. Especially related to the security of Islamic boarding schools.

According to Prasetyo Hadi, from the data received by the government, many buildings have not gone through security procedures, so President Prabowo gave instructions to the ministry represented by the Ministry of PUPR to conduct assessments of Islamic boarding schools in terms of technical security.

According to Prasetyo Hadi, President Prabowo Subianto is also not only concerned with Islamic boarding schools, but also other religious-based educational institutions, including houses of worship, such as mosques, prayer rooms, churches, and others.

All of this, according to Prasetyo, must be ensured to meet minimal security technical standards. Still according to Presetyo Hadi, President Prabowo also pays attention to the education process.

With the number of Islamic boarding schools of approximately 16 million students, President Prabowo wants the education process to receive attention not only to provide students with religious knowledge, but also technology and economic-based science.

This is done so that the students have complete provisions, not only in terms of morals and religion but also in the ability to adapt to technological developments and economic science.
