Survey: 74.8% Satisfied with VP Gibran After One Year

JAKARTA - The results of the latest survey by the Center for Indonesia Strategic Actions (CISA) show that the majority of the people are satisfied with the performance of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The level of satisfaction with Gibran's one year performance reached 74.8 percent.

The survey was conducted on October 13'20, 2025, against 1,224 respondents aged over 17 years from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The sampling method uses multistage random sampling, with a margin of error of 2.9 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.

CISA Executive Director, Herry Mendrofa, said the results showed high public satisfaction with Gibran's performance during the one-year Prabowo 'Gibran administration.

"A total of 4.1 percent of respondents said they were very satisfied, 12.5 percent were quite satisfied, and only 7.9 percent were dissatisfied. The rest did not answer or answered they did not know," said Herry when releasing the survey results in the Semanggi area, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 22.

He added that the level of satisfaction was in line with the level of public confidence in Gibran's leadership as vice president. As many as 79.6 percent of respondents said they believed in Gibran's leadership, 2.5 percent believed it, 5.1 percent believed it enough, and 5.1 percent did not believe it. The rest did not answer or did not know.

According to Herry, public trust arose because Gibran's leadership style was considered participatory (17.8 percent), collaborative (16.9 percent), creative (15.9 percent), serving (14.7 percent), democratic (13.2 percent), and transformational (10.6 percent).

In addition, Gibran is also considered to have made a big contribution to one year of the Prabowo 'Gibran administration, especially in the economic and creative industries. As many as 71.1 percent of respondents considered Gibran to have contributed greatly, 7.4 percent contributed greatly, 12.6 percent contributed quite, and only 4.6 percent considered it not contributing.

"Mas Gibran is not only trapped in elitist rhetoric, but is able to build a populist narrative through real programs such as people's schools, free nutritious meals, and Merah Putih village cooperatives," said Herry.

Herry also said that Gibran played an important role in bridging President Prabowo's communication with young people, especially the millennial generation and Gen Z. As many as 65.9 percent of respondents considered Gibran to help Prabowo collaborate with young people, 9.5 percent were very helpful, 22.9 percent were quite helpful, and only 1.4 percent considered it not helpful.

"Mas Gibran is a strong figure, has a clear vision, a clear moral example, and a real contribution to the performance of the government. The high level of public trust and satisfaction is also driven by his roles and figures as Vice President," concluded Herry.
