Cowboy Action In Banyuasin: Angkot Driver Killed Shot And 3 Perpetrators Arrested

A fire-armed cowboy action took place in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, Tuesday, October 21. Two public transport drivers were shot after being involved in a commotion at a refueling station. One person died on the spot, while the other was seriously injured.

The incident began at around 15.00 WIB at the Limau gas station, Sembawa District. A number of angkot drivers were involved in an argument with three men who came using black Innova Reborn. The dispute was triggered by a fuel queue problem. Local residents had intervened, until the two parties seemed to disband without any continuation.

However, the situation heated up again an hour later on Jalan Lintas Palembang Bentung Km 41, Tanjung Agung Village, Banyuasin District III. The three perpetrators again ran into the angkot drivers who were previously involved in an argument. At that location, the victim M Dwi Yulianto was beaten by the perpetrators.

Seeing his colleague being attacked, Oberta Parjiman alias Obi came on a Honda Blade motorbike trying to intervene. This action actually sparked the anger of one of the perpetrators, Hadi Siswanto. He then returned to the car, took a black firearm, and opened fire at the victim.

Bullets hit Obi's stomach and thighs to death on the spot, while Dwi Yulianto was also hit in the stomach. After shooting, the perpetrators immediately fled using the Innova Reborn.

The police who received the report immediately gave chase. In less than 12 hours, the three perpetrators were arrested at their respective homes without a fight. The three are known to be Hadi Siswanto (31), Indra Gunawan (35), and Dwi Seftiadi Permana Sora (23), all residents ofpany Agung Village, Banyuasin District III.

From the results of the investigation, Hadi Siswanto is suspected of being the main perpetrator of the shooting. The police confiscated evidence in the form of black Innova Reborn cars, angkot cars, victims' motorbikes, and firearms used in the action.

Banyuasin Police Chief AKBP Ruri Prastowo confirmed that all perpetrators have now been detained at the Banyuasin Police Headquarters. He emphasized that the police will process this case firmly and thoroughly because it includes acts of violence with firearms that threaten public safety.

From the hands of the perpetrators, the police confiscated a number of pieces of evidence, including the green angkot BG 1447 AQ car, the black Innova Reborn BG 1710 E (which had been changed to the number plate by the perpetrator), as well as the victim's Honda Blade BG 4790 JO motorcycle.

Now, the three of them have been detained at the Banyuasin Police Headquarters for further investigation. The police are also investigating the origins of the firearms used by the perpetrators.

"We ensure that this case will be processed firmly. There is no tolerance for acts of violence let alone using firearms," said AKBP Ruri.
