Police: Qatar Cs, The Killer Of 4 Farmers In Poso
JAKARTA - The National Police said there were five perpetrators of the murder of four farmers in Kalimago Village, Poso, Central Sulawesi. They are members of the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) group.
"The alleged perpetrator is the East Indonesia Mujahidin DPO group on behalf of Qatar and friends. It is estimated that 5 people are part of the MIT group led by Ali Kalora," said Head of Public Relations Division of the Indonesian Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Wednesday, May 19.
The names of these perpetrators were based on witness testimony. In addition, the information and clues that were gathered led to the MIT group.
Because of this, the Madago Raya Task Force and the Central Sulawesi Police are hunting for their whereabouts.
"Personnel from the Poso Police and Central Sulawesi Police as well as the Madago Raya Operations Task Force continue to pursue and are still pursuing the group," he said.
Previously, the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) terrorist group was acting up again. They killed four people in Kalimago Village, East Lore District, Poso, Central Sulawesi.
"The total number of victims found was four people, the four of them were farmers in Kalimago Village," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Didik Supranoto.
Didik said the four victims were found dead and injured. According to the testimony of the witness who managed to escape, the alleged perpetrator was the MIT Poso group.
"There are no gunshot wounds, only wounds caused by sharp weapons. The body has been evacuated and buried by the family, "he said.
According to Didik, the four victims who were tortured were PP, LL, SS, and MS. While in the garden, as many as five unknown people came to the farmers and carried out their actions. Apart from killing the four farmers, the group suspected of being DPO MIT Poso also took a number of belongings of the victim.
