Kendari City Police Narcotics Investigation Unit (Polresta) arrested a drug dealer of cross-provincial methamphetamine in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. From the hands of the perpetrators, the police confiscated evidence weighing 1.09 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
Kendari Police Chief Kombes Edwin L. Sengka said the perpetrator with the initials FN (33) was arrested in Watulondo Village, Puuwatu District, Kendari City, on Monday night at around 21.00 WITA.
"This FN has quite a lot of evidence, a total of 1.09 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine," said Edwin in Kendari, Antara, Wednesday, October 22.
The arrest began with public information regarding alleged narcotics transactions around the scene. After an investigation was carried out, the Narcotics Satres team immediately carried out a raid on FN's house and found 12 clear plastic packages containing methamphetamine.
"According to FN's statement, he has twice received methamphetamine shipments from outside the city and circulated them in Kendari," said Edwin.
Based on the results of the examination, FN was promised a salary of Rp. 100 million if it succeeded in selling all of the methamphetamine. The police suspect that the motives of the perpetrators are purely economic.
"The item was sent from Medan, North Sumatra, using a plane. FN is also a recidivist of a similar case," added Edwin.
