Accused Of Being Involved In Umrah Travel Fraud, Former Ashanty Employee Rebuttal: Please Prove It

JAKARTA - In the midst of his feud with Ashanty, Ayu Chairun Nurisa now has to face new accusations that are no less serious. He is accused of being involved in the fraud case of a Umrah travel agency. In response to this, Ayu firmly denied and challenged the accused party to prove their claim.

"Actually, there is none," said Ayu Chairun Nurisa at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday, October 21.

"And even if, for example, the other party has evidence, please just prove it. But from me, it really doesn't exist," he continued.

His attorney, Endin, also provided clarification. According to him, the accusation was too premature and was only based on a photo of Ayu's togetherness with the travel owner.

"Brother Ayu has nothing to do with Umrah travel and is also not the brand ambassador, there is no cooperation with Umrah travel, only friendship," said Endin.

He emphasized that there was no flow of funds or work contracts between Ayu and the travel party.

"As long as there is no evidence of a flow of funds, the first is that there is a working bond between Ayu and travel, there is a flow of funds, right," he said.

Furthermore, Stifan Heriyanto pointed out that the issue of his client's involvement in the Umrah travel fraud case was a form of violent opinion. They considered that the accusation was deliberately raised to damage Ayu's image and good name in the middle of the ongoing legal process.

"Ini juga bisa dikatakan ini ya, penggara pendapat opini ya. Ini kalau kita gunakan bahasa mereka, wah ini fitnah yang sangat mengangkat gilakan kan," ujar Stifan.

He regretted how the opposing party had spread negative opinions even though they did not have strong evidence.

"It means that this is trying to give what it is, fragmenting, that Ayu's sister is incredibly evil like that," he added.

"And yes, they shouldn't be able to, they don't do that because this is very, very detrimental to our clients. Automatically the image really falls," he continued.

Ayu's party also denied allegations that she was going to Umrah with the trip. "No, nothing. I don't have Umrah, I'm not going anywhere," said Ayu.
