Hong Kong Airport Reopens Runway Triggers TKP Cargo Accident Two-sided Aircraft

JAKARTA - The Hong Kong International Airport Authority is scheduled to reopen the runway for the crime scene (TKP) for cargo aircraft slipping until they split into two after crashing into a safety patrol car.

Director of airport authority executive for Hong Kong airport operations Steven Yiu told Radio Television Hong Kong quoted from AFP, saying that the repair of the runway and fence damaged by the accident had been completed.

However, airport authorities still set a standby status for the runway of the accident scene on Tuesday afternoon local time, with the use of landing not for regular flights.

The runway in question is temporarily not used properly until the accident debris is completely cleared.

Previously, a Boeing 747 cargo plane skidded into a Hong Kong Airport security patrol car on Monday, October 20 at 03.50 in the morning local time.

In the crash, the plane that was displaced dragged a patrol car into the sea killed two airport security officers.
