Galaxy AI Users In Samsung Fold 7 And Flip 7 Capai 87 Percent

JAKARTA Samsung announced that the adoption rate of the Galaxy AI feature on its foldable devices, namely the Galaxy Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7, has increased compared to last year.

Last year, months after the foldable 6 was launched, recorded Galaxy AI users reached 85.5 percent. Thanks to the adoption of multi-modal Artificial Intelligence (AI) which continues to be pushed by Samsung, users have now increased to 87 percent.

This increase shows that the AI feature is getting better received by Samsung foldable device users. This increasingly high adoption rate has also begun to change the way users use their cellphones.

If previously users only used cell phones to communicate, now the device is also useful for productivity needs. Apart from the Galaxy AI, this shift in the function of folding phones is also supported by Gemini from Google.

"So, (AI) is getting better received by consumers and in the end, the way to enjoy the device is also different," said Ilham Indrawan, MX Product Marketing Senior Manager of Samsung Electronics Indonesia. "The smartphone is not only for communication, but also for productivity."

Ilham explained that Gemini AI's usage rate in foldable 7 also has the same percentage. About 87 percent of users have used both Galaxy AI and Gemini AI at least once.

Furthermore, the use of these two AI features has even reached a fairly high daily level. According to Samsung's internal data, 51 percent of the total users of these foldable devices have integrated the AI features in their daily activities.

"The use of AI is not only for funny video content (making), but also for productivity," explained Ilham. "The use rate of Galaxy AI and Gemini AI is equivalent to 9 out of 10 users in foldable 7."

In line with this upgrade, Ilham also revealed the most widely used features for users. The data shows that the most frequently used feature is Circle to Search, followed by Writing Assist.
