DHF Case In Lebak Banten Reaches 540 People, 1 Dies
JAKARTA - People with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) in Lebak Regency, Banten, from January to September 2025, penetrated 540 cases and one of them was reported to have died.
The Head of the Daily Executive (Plh) of the Lebak District Health Office, Endang Komarudin, in Lebak, Tuesday, asked the public to be aware of the spread of dengue fever following high rainfall and the potential for breeding of aedes aegypti mosquitoes.
Usually, he said, the population of mosquitoes breeds in puddles of water in used goods, such as cans, tubs, buckets, flower pots, and others.
Therefore, the public is asked to activate the activity of eradicating mosquito nests (PSN) and burying, hoarding and closing (3M) used goods and giving agate in the bathtub.
PSN plus 3M activities are considered more effective and cheap to break the chain of spreading dengue cases.

"We ask the public to play an active role in carrying out PSN plus 3M and maintaining environmental cleanliness, so that they can turn off the larvae of the aedes aegypti mosquito," said Antara.
The case of the deadly mosquito bite spread over 32 health centers and only Cirinten health centers were zero percent or no dengue fever was found.
The number of people with the largest dengue cases at the Rangkasbitung Health Center is 93 people, the Malingping Health Center 60 people, the Cimarga Health Center 44 people and the Bayah Health Center 44 people.
Therefore, his party invites the public to increase awareness of the transmission of dengue cases considering the high rainfall over the last few weeks.
"We ask residents to play an active role in preventing the spread of dengue fever through environmental cleanliness with PSN and 3M, so that they can turn off mosquito larvae," he said.
