Using Abal-abal Adaptors, Tesla Electric Car Explodes When Charging
JAKARTA - An unusual incident experienced by Tesla users in Canada who had to receive a bitter pill because an adapter incident exploded while charging their electric car.
Citing from the Carscoops page, Tuesday, October 21, based on reports that a Tesla owner tried to charge his car at commercial charging (non Tesla), and used an A2Z adapter that allows charging stations to connect to cars.
When he plugs in a charger with an adapter connected to Tesla, an explosion occurred, fortunately, the man was a few meters from an electric line when the explosion occurred.
Despite minor abrasions and scratches, the man was not seriously injured. The results of the investigation revealed that the charger and charger adapter himself had problems and caused an explosion.

It said the adapter was not certified for use in Canada because the standard had not been set when the unit was on sale. In addition, the charger himself sent an "inomalous voltage" to the adapter. When that happened, an electric bow explosion occurred and blew the adapter into pieces.
"There is a risk with third-party goods when it is not approved. These items have not been tested for safety and should not be arbitrary," said Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association Bob Porter.
Tesla owners say they have used the same arrangement for two years without a problem, which makes the event a reminder that equipment that should be reliable even if it can suddenly be damaged if it has not been certified or tested with the right standards.
