It Turns Out That It Was Not Putin Who Called Trump Before Together With Zelensky To Discuss The Tomahawk Missile

JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin before meeting Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

Citing Tass, Monday, October 20, the communication between the two heads of state turned out not to have preceded Putin's call to Trump, but vice versa.

In the media report, Trump-Putin's communications to seek peace in Ukraine.

Trump is said to be trying to stop fighting along the Ukrainian-Russian war frontline.

Earlier, on Friday 17 October, Trump urged both sides through his Truth Social platform, to immediately stop hostilities:

"They have to stop where they are," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump's meeting with Zelensky took place at the White House Friday 17 October.

Zelenskyy's arrival in the US to meet with Trump discussed the US President's willingness to supply Tomahawk's long-range missiles to Ukraine.
