Kris Dayanti Wins The Wushu Event At The Age Of 50, Aurel Hermansyah: Grandma Is Agile!

JAKARTA - Indonesia's famous diva, Kris Dayanti, has again proven his extraordinary talent. This time not on the music stage, but in the world-class martial arts arena.

Through an upload on his personal Instagram account, @krisdayantilemos, he shared the good news of his victory in the 9th Kungfu World Championships. World Kung Fu Championships (WKFC) which was held in Meishan, China, on October 14, 2025.

In the photo he uploaded, Kris Dayanti looks stunning in a bright pink wushu shirt with sparkling purple accents.

With a sharp face and full of concentration, he is seen in the low stance of the horses holding a red fan, the weapon he uses in the competition.

According to the information he wrote, this member of the Indonesian House of Representatives as well as an iconic singer won second place. "The second prize Women's Single-weapon routines_shanzi Group E," he wrote in a photo caption quoted by VOI from Instagram @krisdayantilemos, Monday, October 20.

He also included an inscription in the Mandarin script, "E-", which confirmed that he competed in the Women's Singles Weapon category Group E using a Fan (Shanzi).

Kris Dayanti's victory was welcomed positively by his friends, especially his daughter, Aurel Hermansyah. Through his Instagram story, Aurel was seen congratulating his mother.

Not only that, Aurel also called Kris Dayanti a 'simply grandmother' because he participated in this Wushu event at the age of 50.
