JAKARTA - X, a billionaire Elon Musk's social media platform, is testing a new feature, which will make it easier for users to open links while still exploring X.

For creators, a common complaint is that posts with links tend to get lower reach. This is because the web browser covers the post and... pic.twitter.com/oWraLpPwji

This new capability was launched due to the large number of users complaining about posts including links likely to have a lower reach.

The reason is, when the link opens, the browser (browser) will cover the display of the post so that users often forget to give a like or reply.

"As a result, X did not get a clear signal whether the content was good or not," explained Bier further.

Through this update, X changes the view so that posts automatically shrink to the bottom of the screen when the link opens. That way, users can still give reactions or comments without having to close the link page.

"To help get a better signal, now posts will be reduced to the bottom of the page so that people can still react when reading," he added.

X also reminds creators to keep making interesting and informative posts. Posts must be able to stand alone as good content, so write solid information," concluded Bier.
