Kawasaki Z650 S 2026 Officially Launches With A More Aggressive View And Latest Features

JAKARTA Kawasaki officially introduced the 2026 Z650 S model, the latest generation of Z families who are now appearing more modern with several updates, ranging from design, ergonomics, to the latest features on this naked motorbike.

The front part is made wider with firm curvature, while the three-level LED headlights give a futuristic impression and reinforce the identity of the Z series. Kawasaki also increases the comfort of motorists with a sitting position which is now 15 millimeters higher than the previous model.

Passenger seating is also widened by 20 millimeters and gets an additional 10 millimeter thick bearing. The new 30 millimeter wider Stang creates a slightly more inclined driving position forward, providing a balance between comfort and control.

Kawasaki also equipped this motorbike with a 4.3-inch digital TFT instrument panel that supports smartphone connectivity through the Rideology application. Drivers can monitor various information, ranging from fuel consumption, service schedules, to incoming call notifications.

Launching from Visordown, Monday, October 20, the screen also has two taxometer bar and hexagonal display modes that can change automatically following the conditions of the surrounding light. In terms of performance, it's still the same.

The Z650 S relies on a six-cc engine of two parallel, liquid-cooled cylinders that are known to be responsive in the medium round. This is also used in current Z650 and Versys 650 adventure.

This motor takes advantage of the slipper coupling and modified radiator fan covers, while the quickshifter can be added as an accessory. This machine is combined with the Kawasaki traction control system (KTRC) and the latest ABS braking system from Continental.

Z650 S will only be available in three color schemes, namely Ebony/Metallic Carbon Gray, Candy Lime Green/Metallic Carbon Gray, and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Flat Spark Black. Finally, about the price, Z650 S is sold for 7,199 pounds, or around Rp160 million in the UK.
