There Are Improvements On The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Don't Panic: The Line Is Still Opened 2 Directions

Bekasi - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is again carrying out routine maintenance in the form of reconstruction work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. This step is taken to maintain the quality of the road so that it remains prime and comfortable for use by the community.

"This work is a manifestation of the company's commitment to maintaining service quality as well as providing a safer and more comfortable driving experience," said Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT JTT, Amri Sanusi, in Bekasi, Antara, Sunday, October 19.

He explained that the reconstruction work was carried out based on the results of routine monitoring and evaluation of conditions in the field. This activity is scheduled to last for a week at four location points.

In detail, the work at the first point is at the Cikampek Utama 2 Toll Gate On Ramp in lane 1 towards Cikampek, starting Friday at 23.00 WIB to Tuesday (21/10) at 09.00 WIB.

Then at the Citarum River Bridge Km 01+517 East Karawang, the ramp route to Jakarta starts Friday (17/10) at 19.00 WIB until Friday (24/10) at 10.00 WIB.

The third point is in the On Ramp Cikunir area in the 2nd lane of Cikampek starting Saturday (18/10) at 13.00 WIB until Monday (20/10) at 05.00 WIB.

The last point is at Km 33 + 982 to Km 32 + 800 lanes 1 and 2 towards Jakarta starting Saturday (18/10) at 09.00 WIB until Friday (24/10) at 10.00 WIB.

"During the work, the operation of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road remains normal in both directions," said Amri.

Meanwhile, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, said that her party had prepared a number of anticipatory steps to maintain smooth traffic flow during work.

"We put officers on standby at the location, make traffic arrangements, narrow the work area, and prepare contra flow if necessary. We also coordinate with the Highway Patrol Police (PJR) so that the flow of vehicles remains smooth and under control," said Ria.

According to him, PT JTT also conducted socialization through appeal banners and messages on Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) on both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road as a form of transparency of information to the public.

PT JTT apologizes for the inconvenience that road users may feel during the work process. Road users are advised to adjust travel times, ensure the condition of prime vehicles, prepare electronic money balances, and comply with signs and directions from officers in the work area.

For the latest traffic information, road users can access Jasa Marga's one call center 24 hours at 14080 or the Travoy 4.5 application on iOS and Android.

Through this service, users can monitor traffic conditions in real time, view rest areas, and find out traffic engineering information. That way, travel on Jasa Marga Group toll roads will be safer, more comfortable, and more efficient," said Ria.
