Prabowo-Gibran Gets A Green Report Card In Education And Health, The Economy Is Still A 'PR'
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Poltracking survey institute released the results of a national poll regarding the performance of the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka after one year of running.
The survey results showed that the level of public satisfaction with the Prabowo-Gibran government reached 78.1 percent. Meanwhile, 19.3 percent of respondents said they were dissatisfied, and another 2.6 percent answered they did not know or did not provide answers.
"The main factors that explain the public's positive assessment are the character of leadership and programs that directly touch the community," said the Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda Rasyid, in a survey release, Sunday, October 19.
Of the groups of respondents who said they were satisfied, 18.8 percent considered Prabowo-Gibran's leadership firm and authoritative, 12.3 percent considered government assistance to be on target, and 10.4 percent called the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) the most beneficial policy.
In the sectoral assessment, education is the sector with the highest level of satisfaction, namely 79 percent, followed by the health sector (76.6 percent), defense and security (75.5 percent), and socio-cultural (74.9 percent).
Meanwhile, three fields are considered to still need improvement, namely law and eradication of corruption (68.2 percent), politics and national stability (65.7 percent), and the economy (57.4 percent) which is the lowest value.
"The three lowest fields of the Prabowo-Gibran government in momentum this year must be improved so that the public's assessment is equal to other fields," said Hanta.
In terms of programs, Free Nutrition Food (MBG) is the most known program to the public. A total of 89.7 percent of respondents knew about this program, with 53.5 percent of whom said they were satisfied with its implementation.
"When compared to other programs, MBG is the program that the public feels the most benefits of," said Hanta.
Another program that received public attention was the construction of three million subsidized houses. A total of 54.7 percent of respondents said they were interested in the program, with the majority hoping that the price of houses would remain affordable (36.6 percent) and the quality of the building would be maintained (15.7 percent).
Meanwhile, the Red and White Cooperative Program initiated by the government also received positive support. Of the 58.6 percent of respondents who knew about this program, 85.4 percent agreed to its formation.
