Robbers With Gondol Jewelry Machines After Breaking Into The French Louvre Museum

JAKARTA - Robbers armed with chainsaws took away their jewelry after breaking into the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, Sunday, October 19.

Citing AFP, a police source said the robbers used scooters equipped with small chainsaws to break into museums.

The perpetrators then used the freight elevator to reach the room they were after.

Another source said the museum's operations were temporarily closed today after being burglarized at 09.30 and 09.40 local time.

The loss for jewelry stolen by the thieves from the most visited museums in the world is still counted by related parties.

French Culture Minister Rachida Dati in her social media account revealed that this incident resulted in no injuries or lives from elements of officers or staff of the Louvre Museum.

Dati said an investigation had been carried out by French officials to sniff out the robbers' whereabouts.
