The Fishing Boat Was Attacked By The US Military, Colombia: Commits Territorial Murders
JAKARTA - Colombian President Gustavo Petro asked for an explanation from the United States (US) after the US military attacked a ship in the waters of the Colombian territory.
"U.S. government representatives have committed killings and violated our sovereignty in our territorial waters. Fishermen Alejandro Caranza has nothing to do with drug trafficking, his daily activities are fishing," he wrote on X, quoted from Tass.
Colombian president also asked the country's Attorney General's Office to immediately provide protection to victims' families and consider their participation in international courts.
Earlier, on October 18, US President Donald Trump said that the US military had destroyed a large drug-carrying submarine bound for the United States (US).
