Anthusiastically Welcomed, IPhone Air Ludes In Minutes In China

JAKARTA Apple officially opened an initial order for the iPhone Air in China on Friday, October 17. This opening recorded great success as the device reportedly ran out in a matter of minutes.

Initially, the launch of the iPhone Air was delayed in China last month. This delay was caused by a very thin device design and only supported eSIM technology. China is also known to have strict regulations related to this technology.

According to a report from the South China Morning Post, the iPhone Air was completely 'sold out in a matter of minutes' on Friday morning. This phenomenon occurs in all physical stores in major cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.

The iPhone Air in Tianjin also runs out in minutes. The estimated online delivery for various iPhone Air configurations in China will take a lot of time, namely until next November.

Historically, iPhone sales have experienced a sharp spike in China every time Apple introduces a new dramatic design. This success also occurred amid the visit of Apple CEO Tim Cook to the country.

While there, Cook met with buyers, developers, employees, and government officials. Cook also promised to continue investing in China even though it was not disclosed in what form of investment.
