In his remarks, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives who is also the Chancellor of UKRI, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said that in the last year UKRI has succeeded in increasing higher education accreditation from the title 'Good' to 'Very Good'.

This achievement was achieved on March 25, 2025, through the BAN-PT Decree Number 2,102/BAN-PT/03.05/2025.

"The achievement of this momentum is not just a result that comes, but a fruit of a collective synergy involving the entire university ecosystem," Dasco said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, October 18.

He expressed his appreciation to all structural officials, lecturers, support staff, and external partners who have contributed with high dedication in supporting university progress.

Dasco explained that the increase in accreditation was driven by various factors, one of which was the significant growth in the number of students.

In the last five years, he said the UKRI student population had increased from 1,764 to 4,232 students, an increase of 146 percent.

"This trend not only reflects the growth of institutions, but also increases public confidence in our campuses," he said.
