Isyana Sarasvati Opens The Cecilia Round With Single I'm On My Way
JAKARTA - After celebrating a enthusiastic and colorful side in the previous round, Mamiu, through the song Dancing with Jiwamu, Isyana Sarasvati again continued her creative journey to her fifth album, EKLEKTIKO.
The journey of the third half, named Cecilia, was marked by the launch of her latest single entitled "I'm on My Way", which transparently shows the most reflective side of Isyana's inner struggle.
This is not just an ordinary song, but the first composition that was born from the period 'ELEKTIKO', was created by Isyana in early 2024. At that time, she was in the middle of an intense process of finding identity.
This song has transformed into a kind of musical prayer, tells the story of longing, the journey of the soul, and the form of surrendering a human to the Creator.
For Isyana, all life experiences, both in the form of gifts and suffering, are part of the journey back to God.
"This song was born from a moment full of tears. I feel grateful because thanks to writing this song I was able to feel, experience the world again, and feel 'living' again," Isyana said in a press release to VOI, Friday, October 17.

"I'm on My Way" was produced and written by Isyana 'showing a soft but emotional pop arrangement. Isyana also collaborated with Lafa Pratomo to beautify this song with a touch of string arrangement. This combination produces a magnificent composition, but at the same time feels very personal, strongly resonated with deep spiritual nuances.
This song is an audio representation of Cecilia, Isyana's new persona which is described as mysterious, feminine, and full of awareness and wisdom. Symbolically, Cecilia represents Isyana's deepest reflection of the meaning of life, of how world experiences have formed the awareness and role she currently lives.
The spiritual story of this song is also realized visually through a music video produced by Dani Huda. Taking the background on Mount Agung, Bali, especially in Savana Tianyar, this video carries two big concepts: Mananggaling Kawula Gusti and Divine Feminine.
The first concept symbolizes the unification of servants and God, as a form of total surrender to the will of the Gods. Meanwhile, the Divine Feminine describes noble feminine energy, synonymous with love, creativity, and harmony with the universe.
The selection of Mount Agung itself is essential because of its sacred meaning as a symbol of the splendor of God and the universe. On the other hand, the expanse of savana becomes a melting space between the kawula (obligatory) and Gusti (God) 'imbining the core of spiritual unification raised by this song.
Through "I'm on My Way," Isyana Sarasvati presented the most introspective and personal round of ELEKTIKO. This work is not just music, but a narrative of the journey towards awareness, healing, and continuous peace of mind.
The Cecilia round itself is scheduled to continue with a number of other songs planned for release in December, ahead of the full release of the ELEKTIKO album in 2026.
