Female Warung Saradan Madiun Killed, The Perpetrator Is Still Being Hunted

Madiun Resort Police (Polres) investigated the case of a woman who was found dead suspected of being a murder victim at a shop on the bypass route, Pajaran Village, Saradan District, Madiun Regency, East Java.

Head of the Madiun Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Agus Andi Anto said the victim was found dead by local residents on Thursday (16/10) at his shop.

He was found covered in blood with a number of stab wounds on his body. Residents who found then reported to the Saradan Police.

"From the results of the crime scene or crime scene, we found several stab wounds on the victim's body. It is suspected that the victim died," said AKP Agus as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 17.

Based on a temporary investigation, the victim was identified as Sundari (55), a resident of Tawangrejo Village, Gemarang District, Madiun Regency. The victim's body was evacuated to the morgue of the Caruban Hospital, Madiun Regency for further investigation.

Following up on the alleged murder case, so far the Madiun Police Criminal Investigation Unit has examined six witnesses for questioning.

The police also secured a number of items from the location to be used as evidence, such as seprei, sandals, and several personal belongings of the victim.

"We have secured several pieces of evidence allegedly related to this incident and we are still investigating it," he said.

Based on the results of the interim examination, it is known that the victim lives alone in his shop. Apart from selling, the victim is also suspected of serving prostitution practices for customers who come.

Madiun Police are still investigating the case further to reveal the motive for the murder and the perpetrator behind the death of the Sundari victim.
